Celebrate spring with the women of First Church as we gather for brunch and fellowship and hear from PEER Servants, one of our mission partners that we support in several ways. Our guest speakers are President Todd Engelsen, General Director of Servant Relations Leslie Engelsen, and Codirector of Institutional Donor Relations Vivian Su.

PEER Servants is primarily a community of volunteers who want to see more people experiencing the kingdom of heaven on earth. They partner with indigenous, autonomous organizations in Africa, Eurasia, and the Americas that invite PEER Servants to help enhance their communities. These global partners empower the materially poor by helping them start or grow small businesses, educating children, engaging young people in kingdom ministry, extending affordable healthcare, addressing food/water security, and much more. They know that education can transform a family and break the cycle of material poverty in one generation and therefore created the PEER Teen Scholar Program.

A PEER Teens Scholar is an exceptional servant leader in one of the PEER Servants affiliates coming from a family that cannot afford a university education for their child. First Missions is currently sponsoring Stephen, a Teen Scholar in Uganda. He began his program in September of 2022 at All Saints University Lango and is working towards a diploma in Theology & Community Development. Stephen became a follower of Jesus in 2016 and attends the Church of Uganda, Anglican, in Canaan Parish. Stephen serves his church through preaching programs, discipleship programs, singing, and ushering.

Register to attend at First Stop on Sunday mornings or at Wednesday in the Word.
